Honda and Acura Used Car Buy Trip for December 17, 2008

Are you looking for a great deal on a 2009 Honda or Acura vehicle? I flew down to Florida and attended a Honda Remarketing Sale yesterday and I have got some great cars and SUVs coming.

On December 17th, our dealership purchases included:

  • A 2009 Acura TL with the Technology Package.  The 2009 new Acura TL body style is as big as the 2008 Acura RL, and is one VERY aggressive looking machine. There were only (4) 2009 Acura TL units sold at this particular sale. This was a Honda company car that only has 106 miles on the odometer. Our dealership bought this Acura TL from American Honda Motor Company, via dealer auction as an MSO, which indicates that this Acura car has not been titled. Instead of a title, this 2009 Acura TL has a Certificate of Origin, and the customer that buys this car from our dealership will be considered the original owner. For those interested in this new 2009 Acura TL; the price wll be posted on www.accuratecars.com when the vehicle arrives at our Nashville, Tennesssee used car dealership , via transport carrier.

  • The second vehicle that our dealership obtained is a 2009 Acura TSX with Technology Package. This used car was also purchased from American Honda Motor Company , via dealer auction and it has also been an American Honda company car. In 2009, the Acura TSX had a major body style change and it is nearly the size of the 2008 Acura TL. This Acura car has been previously titled in the State of Florida and with only 10,270 miles, it is truely in like-new condition. Just wait until you see what we can sell this 2009 Acura TSX for! The price of this unit will also be posted on our website when this Acura used car is delivered to our dealership in TN.

  • The third vehicle that our dealership purchased was a 2009 Honda Pilot 2WD LX. This new Honda SUV was sold by American Honda Motor Company via dealer auction, as a transport damaged unit and it only has 37 miles on the odometer. If you are looking for a great deal, and I mean  A GREAT DEAL on a new car; you may want to consider a transport damaged unit. When this Pilot arrived at a Honda dealership in Florida, it was discovered to have minor body damage to the rear of the vehicle.  Normally, this type of damage occurs to new cars as a result of not being properly secured for transporting. The minor body damage that results is simply from the vehicle making contact with another unit, either in the front or behind it on the rail car or transport truck. American Honda repairs the body damage and  titles these vehicles through the State of Arizona to American Honda Motor Company. This makes it a pre-owned vehicle and  prevents a transport damaged unit from being sold as a brand new car. The titles on transport damaged Honda / Acura cars, trucks, vans & SUVs are clear and unbranded. Because transport damaged cars are untitled when the damage occurs and because the damage is not the result of a car wreck accident;  there is no Carfax Report record. Transport damaged units have factory warranty, all keys, floor mats and that new car smell. With that said….For Sale, 2009 Honda Pilot, slightly used…only 37 miles on the odometer. No that’s the way to buy a used car!!!

  • The last vehicle that our dealership purchased on Wednesday was a 2007 Acura MDX with Technology Package and DVD. Our dealership purchased this 2007 Acura MDX from AHFC / Honda Lease Trust, via dealer auction. It has a clean Carfax and is very nice both inside and out. I personally drove this unit back to Tennessee. From Florida to Nashville, this 2007 Acura MDX averaged 21 MPG on the interstate, at an average speed of 75 MPH. Our own Service Department is currently performing the 45,000 mile service and detailing this Acura MDX, both inside and out. This 2007 Acura MDX has a 284 in the middle of the vin. For those of you who don’t remember the importance of the 284 in the middle of the serial number, here is the link to  that Accurate Blog post;   http://accuratecars.com/blog/2008/07/25/identifying-the-2007-and-2008-mdx-by-vin/
