Safe, Reliable, Economical - This 1999 Acura CL is very clean for the age. This Acura CL is the from the time when cars were less complicated - making them more reliable, easier to fix, and these cars were simply assembled with parts that had higher quality standards. Our service department has fully serviced this vehicle. This included installing a replacement JDM engine - which has approx. 60,000 miles on it. During the installation process, we had a brand new , still in the box, Denso A/C compressor leftover on the shelf and decided to replace the original one while in there. The replacement engine has a new genuine Honda timing belt, balance belt, water pump, timing belt and balance belt tensioners, cam shaft seal, spark plugs and other various seals that we decided to replace, prior to installing the fresh engine. The valves were adjusted on the fresh engine and a new valve cover gasket and spark plugs seals were installed, along with a new genuine Honda V-TEC solenoid. This car runs very well. It is smooth, reliable, and fun to drive.

Other Service Items

Prior to offering for sale, other issues were taken care of. This vehicle has a brand-new set of Cooper Tires. The brakes - front and rear were inspected. The brake pads are wearing evenly, with approx. 50% remaining. Even the windshield wiper blades were replaced with genuine Honda replacements. To our knowledge, this 1999 Acura 2.3 CL is 100% mechanically sound.

The Exterior is also in Good Condition

While preparing to sell this vehicle, we wet sanded the exterior of the vehicle with 3000 grit sandpaper, cut and buffed the panels, polished the panels and then applied a high-quality wax. The result is a silky-smooth surface of the existing paint. We also refinished the headlamps and installed a brand-new left-over genuine Honda Right rear taillamp - the original had a crack in it.

The Seats are in Good Shape

When reconditioning one of these classic Honda or Acura vehicles; we entrust the great majority of our leather seat repair to John, over a Sew Unique, in Smyrna. These seats - especially the driver seat showed wear. We removed the front seats - and the center console arm rest, took them to John and had a few of the leather seat panels replaced due to wear, tear and age. The seats are in good shape now and the center armrest is like new.

The Interior is Fully Detailed

The entire interior has been cleaned and wiped down. The carpets have been extracted and this 1999 Acura 2.3 CL shows well.

The Rear Seat Shows no sign Age or Wear

We did nothing but wipe down the rear seat. This vehicle has been well kept / cared for over the years and can provide great transportation for many years to come, if continued to be maintained and cared for.
