This 2008 Honda Accord is equipped with the very durable and reliable and powerful L4-2354CC 2.4L DOHC K24Z3 4-cylinder engine that Honda used in many models during this era. Variations of this naturally aspirated (meaning non-turbo-charged) engine was utilized in the Honda Accord, Element, CRV, and the Acura TSX. The engine uses a timing chain instead of a timing belt and is very precise in design.
